We miss Christopher but feel lucky to have a couple of his paintings. What a wonderful person! He always impressed me with his gentle way of approaching life and the keenness of his eye. We so looked forward to seeing him again. Now he is gone...too soon. A talented artist who we will always remember.

I will always remember Christopher as a remarkably talented artist whose work touched many people. Christopher was dedicated to his craft and supportive of others in the art community as well. He always had time for a kind word and never neglected to show his appreciation for those who supported his career. His contribution to Seattle's art scene and community will be sorely missed.

I ran into Chris a few times on the streets. We exchanged a few words, and I'd be on my way, but it was so unexpected and gratifying to see and artist working in the streets. And he was such a sweet guy.

I met Christopher within weeks of his moving to Seattle over ten years ago.We became good friends and had a wonderful mutually supportive relationship. He was extremely dedicated to his development as an artist and he was in the prime of his talent. Christopher was a loving, sensitive guy with no pretense or affectations. He had many friends who loved and cared about him. We will miss him so much.

I had the pleasure of meeting Christopher a year and a half ago and was immediately drawn to his intelligence, compassion, and amazing energy. I wish I had had more time to get to know him even better and work on multi-media projects with him. He truly was an inspiring and beautiful person to be around.

Of late, Christopher was a regular presence in the well-worn industrial building where I have had my art studio for the past ten years. His quiet, steady contemplation of the harsh surroundings was in such contrast to the truck traffic, train horns, and construction that I have to negotiate daily. Watching his paintings emerge was a treat, revealing beauty and order in the chaos that I would forget to see having been there so long. My condolences to his family.

I was a friend of Christopher's through the art community. He was a sweet thoughtful man, supportive of his friends and community, never a bad thing to say. He was non-egoistic about his amazing talent, which was inspiring. A myriad of beautiful people loved and respected him. Driving through the International Dist and Pioneer Square yesterday, I saw the ways in which he honored our city and he will leave that beauty behind, which is a great gift for us all. He succeeded at life. He did it right.

Christopher's death is a sad loss to arts community of Seattle. He was a fine, accomplished painter of the Seattle cityscape. I am lucky enough to have two of his beautiful works. My sincere condolences to his family.

Dear Bruce and David, Anne Pate made me aware of your sudden loss. You may not remember but I was the director at St. James Kindergarten when the boys were in preschool. I have followed Chris' very successful career through Anne and know you must be very proud of his accomplishments. I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers and wish you peace and comfort.
