Robert Hoff Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Toft Funeral Home, Hinman Chapel on Jan. 14, 2026.
Robert W. Hoff, 84, of Wooster, Ohio, wintering in Florida, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026 at Cornerstone Hospice, Clermont, Florida after a short illness.
He was born on September 24, 1941 in Lodi, Ohio to Raymond and Esther (Parsons) Hoff.
Robert went to school at Smithville High School and spent most of his life as a hog farmer along with his wife. After having 3 sons, they named the farm: Triple "H" Farm. He continued to operate a large pork producing operation until his retirement, as if farmers ever do! Robert was the past President of the Wayne County Pork Produces organization. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson with his wife. When he wasn't tending to the farm, Bob was at home in the saddle of his cherished Harley-Davidson. He loved the contrast of the quiet morning chores followed by the roar of his engine as he rode down the back country roads. A man of few words but immense character, he found his greatest peace at home on their farm and wintering in Winter Garden, Florida for the last 15 years.
Robert is survived by his wife, Carolyn, whom he married on September 29, 1962. He is also survived by his sons; Denver (Dorinda) Hoff, Dwayne Hoff, Dwight (Cassandra) Hoff, sister; Betty Lou (Hoff) Moore; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. His legacy will live on through his family, his fellow riders, and a legacy of hard work.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and in-laws: Carl and Doris Piatt.
There are currently no services until this summer, when he is brought back to the land that he loved.
Those wishing to contribute to Robert's memory may do so to a charity of the donor's choice.
