David J. Troyer, 72, passed away at Wooster Community Hospital December 25, 2025 after an extended illness.
David was born at home July 31, 1953 in Beach City, Ohio to Jacob C. And Mattie (Miller) Troyer.
David graduated from Smithville High School in 1972. He worked at Purina Chows, Steiner Turf Equipment, Rubbermaid and Schaeffler. David was also an accomplished photographer, doing weddings and senior pictures. David took pride as the Director of the Wayne — Holmes Soap Box Derby Queen Competition.
David is survived by brothers Alvin J. (Reny) Troyer, Norman J. (Candy) Troyer, Eli J. (Belle) Troyer, and Edwin J. (Samantha) Troyer and a sister Linda (Kurtis) Conkle. David is also survived by his Best Friend Tim Burnison.
David was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother Jacob Jr.
Burial will be handled by Roberts Funeral Home and internment will be in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. There will be no services.
