She was born on June 24, 1959 in Norwalk, Ohio to Paul and Gladys (Arnold) Heckelman Sr.
Peggy graduated from Edison High School in 1978. She spent most of her life working with animals as a Trainer. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with family.
Peggy is survived by her daughter; Amanda (Daniels) Ortiz of Berlin Heights, OH, her life partner; Nicolas Saldana, grandchildren; Kaylee (Caiden) Zeigler, Dustin (Katie) Bowers, 2 great grandchildren; Knox and Weston, sisters; Penny (Sam) Farmer, Pam (Thomas) Poock, Paula Baker; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her brother; Paul Daniels.
Friends may call on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Toft Funeral Home, Hinman Chapel, 38 South Street, Berlin Heights. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
Those wishing to contribute to Peggy's memory may do so to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
