Claus Arthur Seligmann

Seattle -- Claus Seligmann, born August 12th 1927 in Germany, died peacefully after a long illness, on November 14th, aged 87. A talented architect and teacher at the University of Washington, a painter and lover of classical music, he will be much missed by family and friends in both the USA and Britain. A memorial service will be held at the Graham Visitor Center, in the Arboretum, at 2pm on Friday December 12th. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Amnesty International.

Dear Jutta,
I remember the light in Claus's eyes. He always seemed to have that spark of humor and a little mischief. I so enjoyed knowing him. Wishing you comfort and peace after his passing. His memory is a very pleasant and strong presence in our lives.
