George S. Krusi, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, died in his Piedmont home at the age of 89, surrounded by family. A fourth-generation Californian, he was born in San Francisco and grew up in Alameda. George was a longtime resident of Piedmont and also enjoyed spending time at Smoke Tree Ranch in Palm Springs and at the family cabin in the Sierras. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Dear Barbara,
Pete and I send you and your family our deepest condolences.
WE thought of you two fondly and often after we left Piedmont and just recently with our family having our Thanksgiving dinner at the Monte Vista Inn in Dutch Flat.
We wish we had kept better contact over the years........
RIP George Krusi

I have known George Krusi since 1936 at his "cabin in the Sierras," which is actually a mansion at Lake Alta, where there were only four original owners of homes around the one mile in circumference PG&E reservoir. My Grandfather, Frederick Worthen Bradley was one of the original four owners and a good friend of Stetson Hindes, who was married to George's mother and was the original owner of the Hindes home on Lake Alta.
The photo of George and me was taken at the Alta pool August 1936, when George was 9 and I was 4.
My heart goes out to Barbara and the family for the loss.
God Bless You, Rick Bradley
