I too have just recently heard of Adolphus´ passing. What a generous and open man along with Tammy. I went to China with you both in 1978 through the Chinese Cultural Center. You were so fun to travel with and in our group a fresh breath of air. When I returned 6 months later traveling throughout Asia, we got together in your home for dinner. A sort of China reunion! So sweet.
So sorry he has passed. Tammy if you want to get together after all these years, we two social workers can share a meal and friendship again. Email me!!

I just discovered Adolphus´ passing & am very sad. I knew Adolphus in France while he was in the USAF with my late physician husband & me & our 2 young children. He was single at this time & he came over for dinner & we were great friends. Once when visiting SF, i visited Adolphus & met Tammy & their young baby. My husband passed early at 56 so i visited alone with a couple of my friends who later had to have surgery & picked Adolphus to be his anesthesiologist for his surgery. Small world! Just wanted to tell you his family if you happen to read -this since i am so late in discovering his passing, how much i thought of Adolophus. We were so young then in our 20s & really enjoyed each other´s company & had such fun together. I cooked Chinese dishes so he had a taste of home which he missed. Those were such good memories.
Praying for him & hope y´all are blessed each day. Take care.

Dearest Wong Family, I remember calling Adolphus when my mother Lucia passed away in 1985, how comforting your family was then and close to mine. I have such fond memories of our families together and had such great respect for the Wong's. I am so sorry for the loss of Adolphus, such a great and inspiring man to me when I grew up.

Our sincere condolences to your family. We feel priviledged to have the chance to get to know Adolphus in the last couple of years. He's such a gentle spirit and always had another story about China to share with us. Tammy, please let us know if there's anything we can help.

I have had you foremost in my mind not only this past week, but in this past year - I know your family together has struggled and persisted and I am so sorry for what a tremendous loss you are facing. I think of all the years I have been embraced by you all, and I wish I could hug you all strongly enough now. I will see you soon. Much love to each of you.
