Eldon Sozzi Obituary
November 9, 1920 - February 17, 2021
Eldon Pearl Sozzi, 100, of Plumas Lake, CA passed away peacefully on February 17, 2021. Eldon was over a 75 year resident of San Francisco with her last 2 years spent in Plumas Lake with her granddaughter's family. Eldon retired from the San Francisco Giants organization, ending her career as a Manager of the Stadium Club at Candlestick Park. She loved to spend her free time playing the slot machines at local casinos and in Reno, NV. She was an avid fan of the San Francisco Giants and 49ers. Eldon was preceded in death by her spouse, Joseph L. Sozzi of San Francisco; her infant son, Joseph L. Sozzi, Jr.; parents, Clayton Stark and Opal Stark Sexton; sister-in-laws, Eva Sozzi, Eleanor Sozzi and Marian Sozzi of San Francisco. She is survived by her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Michael and Dolores Frith of Concord; her loving granddaughter, Nicole Ferguson (David) of Plumas Lake; her cherished great-granddaughters, Ashlynn and Autumn Ferguson of Plumas Lake; brother-in-law, Roy Sozzi of San Francisco; nephew Joseph Sozzi (Janice) of San Bruno; and great-nephews Joey and Kenny Sozzi of San Bruno. Private services were held followed by internment at the Italian Cemetery.

I worked with Eldon for the giants we always had lunch at the stadium club with Eldon and our stadium operations crew it was fantastic . I have not talked to Eldon since 1994 We all loved her. She knew My Grandparents from Bernal Heights she used to go to their store Cancillas Market . Eldon will be remembered as a great woman that we all loved !! Dan Murray
