Jim Montgomery Obituary
1943 - 2018
Jim Montgomery grew up in Kansas, and graduated from Hiram Johnson High School in Sacramento, Sacramento Community College, and Saint Mary's College in Moraga, CA. Passed away on Aug. 7 th in El Cerrito, CA. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Predeceased by first wife, Diane, and mother and father, Bernice and Merlyn. Survived by his loving wife Linda Rose; sons, Mark (Frances), Steve (Jenny), Dave (Barb); stepson, Greg Milton; grandchildren, Sara, Elizabeth, and Grace; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Maurice (Connie), Tim (Robbie) and Tom (Dawn) and several nieces and nephews.Jim loved RVing throughout the US, Canada, and Alaska; traveling throughout Europe, Costa Rica, China, Australia, and the Caribbean; bike riding on California trails; and teasing his grandchildren. He was an avid genealogist and wine enthusiast. He spent over 50 years in computers and semiconductors and had his own business for several years.
