Don provided wise and skillful counsel while we
worked on fundraising for the Insight Meditation
Center in Redwood City. I am grateful for that and
the talks on dana (generosity) that he gave
at our Center. He would always note with a
twinkle of the eye that the dana received would be multiplied and given to the good works of

Don was one of a kind, he always found a way to lightened up a room with his humor and twinkle ... Don I will miss you, and I am so honored to have known you.

Carole, you may not remember me, but I grew up with Don in West Hartford, CT, living on the next street from Don and his parents. I knew Don since kindergarden. I will miss his wonderful sense of humor . . . so quick and bright! Hopefully he is in a better place. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Jamie, Carole and Sam please know that my heart aches for your loss. This disease is difficult on the patient and all the caregivers. The bravery shown by your family during this fight only confirms the spirit of the man you loved. Please know we are thinking of you all with love and compassion.

Don was a once in a lifetime friend. He influenced so much of my life and often even changed my direction. Don was fun, smart and loyal. I will miss you so much and never forget you and all of the great times we had.

Don was a gift to the universe. His counsel was a significant help to me some 30 years ago, when he knew me only through Kara. After that I knew him as a friend, neighbor, counselor, and above all, a caring and wise gentleman in every sense. Bless Carole, she above all had the pleasure of his company.
