Deane Wernet

Deane Marie Wernet Born in Canton, Ohio, to Ned and Cecelia Wernet. Deane was a loving free spirit who was always moving forward with the gift of including everyone and everything in her life. A talented artist, Deane created fine jewelry that embraced the San Francisco spirit. She was a life-long learner with many areas of interest, including silversmithing, spiritual pathways, textile art and astrology. Deane's love of people and knowledge of food led her to a successful career in the restaurant business where she was a much-loved member of the community. Her sense of humor enabled her to move through life's challenges with grace and dignity. Deane is survived by her 12 siblings and their families, ex-husband Jeff Benedetto, countless friends and Michael Fekeshazy, that guy from Cleveland. A Celebration of Life will be held at Duggans Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave, Daly City, CA 94014, on Sunday, December 16, 2012 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Memorial at 4 p.m.
