For many years she generously donated her time teaching drama to children in a low-income area of Redwood City and working at The Garden Café, an enterprise of the Auxiliary for Children's Hospital at Stanford. She was president of The Circle at St. Paul's and of the Carolands Garden Club. Her culinary skills were unsurpassed, having benefited from personal lessons from Jacques Pepin, Auguste Bizebard and Winnie Wong. A long time member of the League of Women Voters and an avid reader, she also enjoyed singing, especially songs written by her and her husband. Her legacy is love.

I will always remember aunt Pat for all the times we spent together at La Jolla Shores in the 60's, all the fun family reunions at uncle Chuck's home, and visiting the Taylor's at their beautiful home in Hillsborough. I will miss you dearly aunt Pat.
