Rocco Gulli, 91, of San Francisco passed away on November 23, 2017. He was born in a house overlooking the Mediterranean Sea in Scilla, Italy in the province of Calabria on October 9, 1926. His birth was not recorded until two days later when his parents Francesca and Carmelo made the journey to the clerk's office for the official documentation. He enjoyed celebrating both birthdays all of his 91 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Vincenzo.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

We extend our sincere condolences for your loss. He will be missed greatly by us as a gentle soul, devout in his faith, devoted to his family and cultural heritage and always in pusuit of knowledge. He was passionate about his cooking and perfecting his culinary skills and giving of his time and talents as a volunteer to the less fortunate.
