I think that was the most beautifully written obituary I have ever read. She seems like a wonderful person who I would have liked to have known.

Reading Paloma's obituary in today's SF Chronicle, I was moved to respond. I've worked in the treatment of addiction since 1974 and cannot recall a more touching and sensitive response to another soul lost to this disease. I can't thank you enough for having the courage to share your memories and understanding at this unimaginably painful time. I've shared Paloma's memorial with people I know who need to know of her life. Please know that your words and her life will have impact on those who have fought to find and live in recovery as well as those who are still searching for that peace. You're not alone, she's not alone and she will live on through those lives she touched. Thank you so much.
