Bernice June Forsythe

SHREVEPORT, LA - Bernice June Forsythe passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 11, 2011, at the age of 77. She was born on June 12, 1934, in Pike, New York. "Bee", fondly known as "the cookie lady", is survived by her three children, Malissa J. Blackburn and husband Rudy of Bossier City, Mark D. Forsythe of Deberry, Texas, and Marsha L. Forsythe of Shreveport; and grandchildren Jessica, Natalie and Pearson Forsythe; as well her step grandchildren, great grandchildren, and two sisters, Hilda Goff and Myra Hinz.

At Miss Bee's request there will be no services. Rather a gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, September 17, 2011, at 5:00 p.m. at the home of Malissa and Rudy Blackburn.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association, P. O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.

I am so sorry for your family's loss. Miss Bee has been a part of my family seems like forever. She will be missed so muched. I know my momma will miss her dearly.
