Brandon Copes Obituary
Brandon was a native of Bossier City and a resident of Haughton, LA for 20 years. He was a member of The Simple Church in Bossier City and was employed with CCI Oil Field Services.
Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents and great grandparents. He is survived by his fiancée of two years, Emily Stewart; son, Mason; mom, Stacey Jessup Copes Martin; father, Chuck Copes and wife, Patty; four sisters, Tabatha and Tasha Martin, Ashley McKnight and Sara Barnett; six brothers, Dustin McKnight and wife, Sabrina, Cameron Jessup, Shawn Baham, Zachery McKnight, Russell Barnett and Eric Edmondson; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Nancy McWilliams; and paternal grandfather, John Copes.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Brandon's name to Bossier Federal Credit Union in a fund set up for his fiancée and son.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to South Bossier Fire Department.
Brandon is survived by a huge family and a ton of friends that loved him. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, fiancée, dad, nephew, grandson, uncle, cousin and friend.

I am so sorry to hear of this tragic loss, brandon will be missed and loved by many!! he was such a great person always trying to make some1 laugh with his loud truck id always hear him coming down the road! we werent the closes friends but i was sure blessed to know him for the little time i did. Brandon was a friend of mine, when i moved to haughton, la i had little to no friends and he was 1 of the first people to talk to me, i will always remember his smiling face. RIP BRANDON!! I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through. My heart just about burst when I heard. My Prayers and deepest love go out to you. Even though it's been awhile since I last saw him; after being at the funeral home, I could see he must have been a wonderful young man. So many had come to pay their respects and to honor his memory. What a blessing. He will continue to bless those he came in contact with for a very long time. I can still see him as a toddler stomping around in his boots roaring like a monster!! God bless you

Stacey, I was so shocked to hear about Brandon. I know exactly the loss and grief you feel because my dad died on July 1 2010, and I just buried him on July 5. Some 3 weeks ago.
