The Music World as well as Family & Friends has had a remendous loss with the passing of "Dino" Zimmerman. I have known "Dino" for a lot of years & will always remember his friendship and talent. He was the Best Guitar Player I have ever known and could play Rock, Country, plus R&B with complete confidence. He has played on over Fifty Recordings of songs I have written or produced. The first sessions were at Robinhood's in Tyler, Texas, then Sound City in Shreveport, Malaco in Jackson, Mississippi and on to Nashville, Tennessee. He has played on hit records for Johnny Taylor, Dorothy Moore, King Floyd, Fern Kenny, Z. Z. Hill & Frederick Knight, just to mention a few. He had a Demo Studio at his house in Nashville, where he played every instrument, he was a "One Man Band! He demo'd a lot of songs for me that sounded as good as anything you hear on the radio and some of them turned out to be very successful.
"Dino", you will be remembered and missed, but I know we will make music together on the other side.

I have a vivid memory of my Dad and Mr. Dino jamming out in my garage when I was a kid. They played together many years ago in the Rogue Show. My Dad, Danny, was the drummer. May God give you comfort during this difficult time.
