ROCKPORT, TX - Gloria Jean Durrett Impey of Rockport, Texas, died suddenly on December 28, 2012. Gloria was born near Arcadia, Louisiana on June 24, 1936, graduated from Arcadia High School in May 1954, and earned an Associate degree in Business from Louisiana Tech in May 1956.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Impey, parents, Curtis E. and Mary Avis Peddy Durrett, and son, James Franklin McBride III.
Survivors include one son, Michael Curtis McBride and wife Shannon of Austin, TX; one daughter, Melinda Ann McBride Manigold of Spicewood, TX; two grandchildren, Taylor McBride of Washington, D.C., and M.Z. Manigold of Spicewood, TX.
Gloria is also survived by sisters, Jo Ann Wiley of Blanchard, LA, Sue Rodriguez of Atlanta, GA, Betty Perritt of Arcadia, LA, Molly Coker and husband Gene of Arcadia, LA; and one brother, John Wesley Durrett and wife Mary Jane of Arcadia, LA.
