I was a classmate of Doug's. A kinder, funnier, more honest guy you couldn't find. He had a great sense of humor and I don't know anyone who didn't love him. He was taken too soon and will be missed by his classmates and all of us "Oslo kids." My deepest sympathy goes out to you, Deb, and your children, and to Doug's extended family. Those Gowan family reunions will not be the same without him!
Thinking of you and pray that your memories of Doug will help heal and comfort you.

Debbie, Amber, and Chad,

I was utterly shocked to hear of Doug's passing. Our family so enjoyed the company of your family over the years. Doug was always ready to lend a helping hand, with a smile and a quip, and Debbie, you always welcomed us into your basement that we used as a storm shelter. Thank you for the wonderful memories, "hubba, hubba".

Love always,

Debbie,

I can't believe he's gone....an infectious smile and always made others laugh with his dry humor. Loved playing softball with him over the years, an usher at a wedding, scored a hole-in-one with me the first time he ever played golf at Bunn Golf Course. "Ramming Speed" when we went canoeing together down the Current River...so many memories and he and you will always be considered "family". May you find solace in the fact that he's in God's hands now smiling down on us all. Peace and Love Be with you, Amber and Chad.
Love,
John Fullager
