Johnny Savage Obituary
Mr. Johnny Savage, 72 of Panama City, Florida passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2012 at a local hospital.
He was born the son of Grover Edward and Hazel Edna Newsome Savage in Mobile, Alabama on Dec. 2, 1939. He was a self-proclaimed native of Bay County having resided here since the age of four months. He was an avid fisherman and a beloved husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Scharlet Savage; 2 sons, Johnny (Allison) Ragan of LaGrange, Ga., Johnathan (Shelli) Savage of Panama City, Fl.; 1 daughter, Jacquelyn Savage of Tallahassee, Fl.; 3 brothers, Floyd (Teresa) Savage, Eddie
(Diane) Savage and Richard Savage; grandchildren, Justin and Jordan Ragan, Rheagan Savage, Michael and Matthew Durbin and Addison Myers; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday Sept. 21, 2012 at Kent- Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Virgil Tillman officiating. The family will begin receiving friends at the funeral home at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Covenant Hospice.
