BUCHANAN, MI -
On January 31, 2020, Daniel James Wiseley, 92, left this life to be with his wife of 58 years, Cleo (known as “Red”). The family would like to thank Buchanan Meadows Residential Care Center for taking such good care of him over the last three years. He passed quietly of natural causes and complications of COVID-19.
He will be greatly missed by his surviving children, Sandra Wiseley-Carr of Denver, CO, Timm (Laura) Wiseley of Williamston, MI and Scott (Sherry) Wiseley of Latah County, ID, his five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
After enlisting in the Army and travelling to the European Theater, Dan returned home, married his sweetheart Red, and started a family. Dan was a Pharmacist for most of his life. He was the proud owner of Dan's Pharmacy in downtown Buchanan from 1974 until it closed. He was very active in the congregation of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church. A Memorial service will be held May 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's, 212 W. Front St., Buchanan, MI.
