George Dascoulias Obituary

MIDDLEBORO — George N. Dascoulias, 89, of Middleboro, where he has been a long time resident, died Monday, December 3, 2007, at the Oak Hill Nursing & Rehab. Center.

Born in New Hampshire, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Ethel Dascoulias, both of whom were from Greece.

He attended Middleboro Schools and was a WWII, U. S. Army Veteran. He was the former owner of the Central Café in Middleboro, and was an avid coin collector.

Husband of the late Mina (Resmini) Dascoulias, he was the father of Ethel Lavalley of Georgetown, TX, formerly of Norfolk. Brother of the late Angelo Dascoulias, Dimetria Williams, and Bessie Boyle, he is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the R.J. Ross Funeral Home, 135 South St., Wrentham on Friday morning from 10-11AM for a Prayer Service at 11:30, followed by burial at Central Cemetery in Middleboro.

Mr. Dascoulias,
Sir, I didn't know you but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
