ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Madonna Cox, 40, of Asheville, N.C., passed away Wed., Dec. 4, 2013, in Asheville.
Born Sept. 14, 1973, in Pike County, Ky., she was daughter of Patsy Charles Lycans of Pikeville, Ky., and the late Lyle Sonny Lycans. Also preceding her in death was her husband, James David Cox.
Additional survivors include her children, Ishmael Jordan May, Emily Keene and Cody Daniels, all of Asheville; brother, Mason Lycans of Pikeville; granddaughter, Isabella Grace May; niece, Lorin Holloway of Pikeville, and a host of friends.
Friends may gather with the family for a time of remembrance from 4-6 p.m. Fri., Dec. 13, at Hatfield Funeral Chapel with a simple service to begin at 5 p.m.
The family requests that everyone wear casual attire and that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family via the Hatfield Funeral Chapel.
