Maryann Mitchell

Maryann Keith Mitchell, 69, of East Bridgewater, passed away suddenly at home Tuesday, June 25. She was the beloved wife of Stanley Mitch Mitchell. Born in Whitman, she was daughter of the late Albion and Alice (Fox) Keith. Maryann was a longtime resident of East Bridgewater and National Honor Society graduate of East Bridgewater High School. She worked for and retired from Stillman-Sims Tire Company as bookkeeper and "Mother Superior." She enjoyed antiquing, crosswords, and was an avid reader. Mostly, she enjoyed being a mom to those who needed one. In addition to her husband Mitch, she is survived by her daughter, Jeannie Keith Cullati; and grandson, Clay Thompson of East Bridgewater; her brother, Richard Keith of Plymouth; her sisters, Margaret Campbell of West Bridgewater and Alice Reilly of Montana; also several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Scott Keith Mitchell and sister of the late Sandra Sullivan and Audrey Fuller. Services were held Monday, July 1, at 10 a.m. in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle), Whitman. Burial in Central Cemetery, East Bridgewater, followed by a luncheon at the East Bridgewater Commercial Club.
