Ida Czerwonka Obituary

Ida R. Czerwonka BROCKTON Ida R. (Santoro) Czerwonka, of Brockton, formerly of Randolph and Hyde Park, passed away Nov. 10, after a period of failing health, at age 84. Wife of the late Paul W. Czerwonka, she was the loving mother of John Czerwonka and Jo-Ann Czerwonka, both of Brockton, Dean Czerwonka and his wife Pamela of West Bridgewater and Kathryn and Michael Ireado of Bridgewater and the late Paul S. Czerwonka; devoted sister of Steve Santoro and his wife Vernie of Florida and Lillian DeStefanos of Randolph. Also survived by six grandchildren. Ida was born and grew up in Hyde Park, where she loved roller skating with her sister Lil. She met her late husband, to whom she was married for over 50 years, at Stop and Shop in Hyde Park. Ida enjoyed playing bingo and games of chance on the boats in Florida and especially loved the music of Dean Martin. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 North Main St. (Rte. 28), Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral service Saturday at 9 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Grandma i miss you so much and I am sorry I couldn't see you but i was in college. I was really upset when I heard the news and didn't know what to do. I am happy to know your with God and all done with the Oxygen. I remember how miserable you were. I am sure your happy you see papa paul and uncle paul. Look over auntie joe and dad cause there having a tough time with this. I know your fine. Were gonna celebrate your life saturday with some dean martin music. I couldn't ask for a better grandma. We love you here and I know this isn't the last time I will see you.
