Timothy Stack Obituary

Timothy C. Stack, age 55, of Taunton, formerly Bridgewater died unexpectedly Friday, April 8, 2011 at his home from complications of diabetes. He was the devoted husband of Donna M. (Daniels) Stack for 34 years. Tim was born in Brockton a son of Helen (Russell) Stack of Pocasset and the late William Stack and always considered himself an Eastsider of Brockton. He was a 1973 graduate of Brockton High School where he was an outstanding member of the hockey team. At the time of his death, Tim was shop steward for the Brockton Housing Authority. Previously he worked at the Shaws warehouse in East Bridgewater until its closing. In his free time, Tim enjoyed golf, gardening and watching all Boston sports teams on TV. He especially enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his three daughters Holly Stack-Ussow and her boyfriend Chris Romanshyn of Raynham; Jennifer Stack-Calvao and her husband Tim of New Bedford and Erin Stack-Kouknas and her husband Tom of Taunton. He was the brother of Stephen Stack of Brockton, William Stack, Jr. of Quincy, Nora Tobin of Plymouth and Mary Melano of Yarmouthport. Tim also leaves many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123), Brockton Tuesday 5 - 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at noon. To the entire Stack family, I just recently heard of Tim's passing. I am truly sorry for your loss, Tim was an incredible athlete, person,and most of all friend. I will never forget the great times we spent together on the East side and down Downey with all. I only wish that through the years I had stayed close with Tim but unfortunately we all go our seperate ways as we grow older. You will be truely missed buddy.
