John Keegan Obituary

John P. Keegan, age 43, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at the Norwood Hospital. He was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy schools and was a graduate of North Quincy High School and Boston University.John served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Gulf War era. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed hockey. Beloved husband of Ruthann E. (McCorry) Keegan. He is survived by a loving daughter and step-daughter. Devoted son of John P. Keegan and the late Maryann (Kennedy) Keegan. Dear brother of Joseph P. Keegan of Quincy and James P. Keegan of Arizona. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. At the request of the family, funeral arrangements were private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Johns memory may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
