I am sorry that for some reason I have just heard of Donna's passing. She was heaven on Earth, the strongest spirit I have ever met; and what an honor to have been given the gift of her friendship. The memories are flooding in; all good times, which is what Donna brought to the lives of others. She had such depth and intelligence, compassion and wisdom. An adventurer and explorer. Creative, funny, beautiful and humble. But, so strong. She demanded much of herself with joy in the process; and in living her life and embracing all of us was a guide. God bless Donna's wonderful, warm family. I send my love to Donna's mother especially whose home and warmth was the backdrop of so many of my memories of being with Donna. Memories of intimate friendship, laughter and fun. We are the lucky ones to have known and been loved by Donna. I am so sad. Chris M.

My thoughts and prayers are with Donna's family and friends at this most difficult time. I met Donna in the early 1970's where we were rivals on the field and court. Cog played for Hull and I (Spanky) played for Holbrook. We quickly became friends, her contagious smile and warmth always came shining through! Donna was a very special person to all of us. She will be missed terribly but she is finally free of pain and sickness that she has been battling for so many years! Fly high with the angels, my dear friend, until we meet again on the field in Heaven. ❤

I am so grateful for having you in my life Donna. You lived your words and shared your love so freely. You are free of pain now and I imagine you checking in on all of us to be sure we are OK. You always considered everyone else's feelings, always thoughtful and kind. Your sense of humor and smile are what I miss the most, but you are easy to see each time I think of you. I wasn't ready for you to go, I thought we still had time, and I am sad about that. You understood the importance of time and you wanted everyone you loved to know how much you loved them. You made everyone feel important and cared for. Tony, Gloria and I played a game of Dirty Marbles in your honor. We will think of you when we play, you always won! You will always be in my heart as you explore this great, new adventure you are part of now. ❤

To the Cogliano family,
I'm very sorry for your loss. Although our paths didn't cross very often since our Hull school days, when they did I always appreciated my conversations with Donna.
In spite of her health situation, Donna had such a positive attitude. I will remember her smile. She was such a bright light.
May you all find some small comfort in knowing she is now at peace and free from all worldly suffering.
I'm sorry that I will not be able to attend the services, but know I'm there in spirit and your loss is shared by many.
With sincerest sympathy
