Dear Gay, Maura, Kate, Danny, Kevin and Sheila,
It is with great sadness that I write this note. Sully was a great guy and a wonderful father. I have many fond memories of him. Maura, I remember how mad he was at us when we went out-and-about in a snow blizzard in the Signet. He was concerned for our safety, and we were young and foolish to go out...He was a warm, gentle, considerate and loving person. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Memories cannot be destroyed by death. May only good memories of Bob comfort you in your sorrow. It's like when a piece of music stops - it still echos on in your mind and you enjoy it because you love that piece of music - just as you love Bob. I was saddened when Ginny told me of Bob's death. I'm sure you have many wonderful memories to cherish from 61+ years; recall them often to get you through. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers. It's always tough to lose someone at this time of the year, but I have it on good authority that God only calls His favorites to share in His special heavenly celebrations!

I was sorry to learn of the death of Bob, I worked with him at the Globe, for many years, and I always found him to be a gentleman. I will keep him and the Sullivan family in my prayers during this difficult time.
