Pamela Holcombe Obituary
INMAN, SC-- Ms. Pamela Renina Holcombe, 41, of 1677 Rainbow Lake Road, Inman, SC, passed Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at her home. She is the daughter of Mr. Anthony and Mrs. Callie Bates Holcombe of Spartanburg, SC. She was a native of Spartanburg County. She was a member of the Smith Chapel Baptist Church, Campobello, SC. She was a former employee of BMG Company, Duncan, SC. She was a graduate of Spartanburg High School, Class of 1986.
She is survived by one son, X-Zaveuse (Toney) Pearson-Durham of the home; one sister, Mrs. Carmen (Howard) Jones of Boiling Springs, SC; one half-sister, Mrs. Tiffany (Kendrick) Underwood of Duncan, SC; and one brother, Mr. Anthony Holcombe Jr. of Spartanburg, SC. Paternal grandparents, Mr. Caleb (Elease) Holcombe of Boiling Springs, SC, and Mrs. Fannie Holcombe of Spartanburg, SC; maternal grandparents preceded in death, Mr. Otis and Mrs. Annie Bell Bates.
The family will receive friends at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Holcombe, 150 Stribling Circle, Spartanburg, SC.
Visitation will be Friday, November 27, 2009, from 7:00-8:00 PM at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2009, at 2:00 PM at Smith Chapel Baptist Church, Campobello, SC. Rev. Stacey Mills will officiate. Burial will be in the Heritage Memorial Gardens. The body will be placed in the church at 1:00 PM.

'' TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY TO EXPECIALLY FIND OUT A MONTH LATER BECAUSE I LIVE IN NEW JERSEY NOW AND HAVE SINCE 1988 BUT PAM AND I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN EXTREMELY CLOSE I COULDN'T HAVE HAD A BETTER BEST FRIENDWE WERE THE POPULAR THREESOME (PAM,LISA BEATTY,AND NANCY GREENE) WE BEARLY MADE A MOVE WITH OUT EACH OTHER ELEMENTRY TO HIGH SCHOOL MY TEARS OVER TAKE ME NOW BUT TO GOD BE THE GLORY CAUSE HE CAN DO MORE FOR HER THAN I EVER COULD.I KNOW HE IS ENJOYING THAT WONDERFUL SMILE. I am sadden to hear of Pam's passing. In my memories of Pam, as a child she had a sweet calming personality. We would go and get her to come outside when we came of visit our grandmother in Highland. My last time speaking to Pam she still had that same calming sweet personality as an adult. May God rest a peaceful spirit over each of you in this sorrowful time.. To the Family and Friends of Pamela:
I am in devestation to hear of her passing. I have not seen or spoken with her in years. However, my most memories of Pam is how much fun we used to have in Study Hall and the Library at Spartanburg High School. She was "ALWAYS-ALWAYS SMILING OR LAUGHING ABOUT SOMETHING"! She was the person in school that never seemed to allow anything to discourage or get her down. This is a terrific quality to have. She always kept everyone else "Cheered-Up" that knew or came in contact with her. My condolences and prayers definitely go out to you,her family! Please try to stay Encouraged and just know that God is still on the Throne! He was missing an Angel and called Pam Home into His Presence of Eternity! God Bless You All!
