(Age 42)
Kory was born in Spokane to Denny and Sherry York on October 19, 1969. On his way to heaven October 11, 2012. Kory loved sports and played baseball, football, and basketball. He wrestled and played soccer at Horizon Jr. High and Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley. He also loved to play golf with his Grandpa Dale. Kory was a great son, brother, uncle and friend. We'll miss you so much Kory York. He is survived by his mother Sherry York of Spokane; father Denny (Debbie) York of Spokane; his sisters Gabi Cole of Spokane and Kim York of Boise; nephew Paden Hoyd of Boise and his niece Jazzy Halonen of Spokane. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Home at 4 PM. Memorial contributions may be made in Kory's name to a charity of your choice. His passion for writing and poetry will be missed by his special friends. His favorite saying, "Nice to see me."

mr york, you always said ur parents named you kory york because they figured 4 letters was easy for you to remember and they didnt want to confuse you to much, with a giggle ..... i miss your infectious laugh, your singing to the ballads, your habit of throwing cheese burgers at me while i drive aand u waking my kids up with kisses and tickles and ur stories as the went to bed. i miss u forever ...... hi me I SEE YOU !!!

You and all that you are will always be a part that helped mold me from the start. My life changed the moment I met you as I found your heart to be so true. Your heart so pure and real...just another amazing part of you that I was able feel. Thank you for showing me the world in a different light you never ceased to make everything right. As my heavy heart continues on, I am having a really hard time believing you are gone. As hard as it is for everyone left behind, I know it was simply your time to rest...you left all of us blessed. You fought a good fight and continued to spread a shining light. No matter where you may be and no matter how far...I will look up and see you in the stars. If only the entire world knew how you loved, I believe you will find a way to still show it from above. I know how badly you needed a release, I hope you are truly at peace.
