Shellie PIERCE Obituary

PIERCE,
Shellie Ann

On October 20th our beloved Shellie Ann Pierce was welcomed into heaven by the loving arms of her LORD and Savior Jesus Christ along with those preceding her in death, Grandfather Clutch Flett, Grandmother Bonnie Riddle, Grandmother Elaine Pierce and best friend/cousin Aaron "Chubby" Brisbois.
Shellie is survived by her only child Anthony Espino, her parents and their spouses JoAnn (Flett) and Jeff Doud and David and Gayle Pierce, siblings and their spouses, Aimee and Alex Woodard, Nikkole and Andrew Garry, Amanda and Tim Jones, Ryan and Ashleigh Doud and Bethany Doud, Grandmother Allie Flett, and Grandfather Harvey Doud, along with numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins.
Shellie was a proud member of the Spokane Tribe and was raised on the Spokane Indian Reservation. Shellie graduated with honors from Columbia High School and was proud to have been on the State B Basketball Championship team in 1986. Her teammates affectionately knew her as "Shorty". Throughout her athletic career she earned numerous awards including, "Best Defense" and "Best Hustle". She was so proud to be a Lions Cheerleader, travel with the football team and cheer them on as they took two State Championships.
Shellie went on to earn her Bachelors Degree and was currently working on her Masters. Marketing was her "niche" and she was extremely successful even prior to attaining her degree. She was the Founder and Principle of Pierce Marketing.
Her many accomplishments will never compare to the proudest moment in her life when she looked into the face of her precious son Anthony Espino, or as Shellie called him, "Charlie".
Services will be held at Fruitland Bible Camp. Wake at 7pm on Monday, October 29th, 2012. Funeral at 10am Tuesday, October 30th, 2012. Fruitland Bible Camp, 5876 Mudget Lake Rd., Fruitland, WA. 99129.
Shellie's friends have set up www.remembershellie.com memorial fund which will go towards Anthony's (her son's) college fund. The most important goal in her life was to see that he was able to graduate from NYU. Even though you're gone, your birthday is not forgotten! "Happy Birthday Shellie, have a piece of cake with Grandpa for all of us! We love you!"

Shellie, I am so sad. I just found out from Aaron's mom (Kaye). My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. I am so sad, I remember when telling you that you did such a great job with Aaron's memorial that I made you promise to do mine the same way. Who would have thought that I would be the one writing this message. Rest well, sweet one and please say hello to Aaron when you see him.

God Speed my friend, we will meet again some day.

I will always remember during her basketball years Cluch and Allie saying; "She's gramma and grandpa's girl". She was an amazing person making amazing things happen. I pray that God will continue to knit the family together and make you all strong. We loved her too. Bob and Laura
