He was one of the few friends I've had. He was a neighbor that I got to know during high school. We hung around together after high school and had some great times. It has been quite some time since I last saw him but this will remain a low point in my life. He was definitely what would be called "good people". Fly high, my friend.

I went to graduated from U-Hi with Jerry and he was an official member of the Valley SFL (sandlot football league) with several other close friends that would gather at Balfour Park Saturday or Sunday afternoon's to play some pick up games. All of us had SFL nick names and Jerry was known as "Crazy Legs" as he was quite a fast runner. I have not seen or spoken with Jerry for many many years as we went our separate ways and lost contact. I will always remember him as having a very calming and deliberate influence...a very good friend to have growing up. My sympathies and prayers go out to all of his family for your loss.
