Chanin was a friend of mine in Valdez. Her family was like a 2nd family to my little boy who is now 6 and my older son went to preschool with Marshall and became great friends. This is very devestating to us. My heart hurts for Chanin's children and family. Prayers to you all!

Chanin was my first babysitter when I was little. My favorite memory: she taught me how to 'bat' my eye lashes. I remember staring up into her eyes thinking, "I hope I'm as beautiful as she is when I grow up." Chanin will remain a special light in my heart that will never go out. Peace be with you Amy and Steven.
