Edith Starbuck Obituary
Edith Starbuck, born March 10, 1935, in Newton, Kan., passed to her Heavenly home on Dec. 27, 2025. She is survived by her sister, one daughter and one son, three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She loved the outdoors, traveling whether flying her own plane or as a passenger, crocheting and her church. She is preceded in death by her father, mother, sister, brother, two husbands, Jim Metzger and David Starbuck, and one stepson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Valley Baptist Church in Searcy, Ark. Visitation will be held prior, beginning at 10 a.m.
Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. www.powellfuneral home.net.
