News Death Notice

COX, Barbara J. "Bobbie" 50, of Springfield, passed away Monday, June 9, 2008 after a long battle with cancer. She was born June 9, 1958 in Springfield, OH, a daughter of Charles and Judith Day. Bobbie enjoyed playing pool, outdoors and singing karaoke. She is survived by her husband, Jack "Squirrel" Cox of Springfield; children, Angie (James) Day of Enon, Amie (Dan) Boyd, Adrian "Bubby" Cox all of Springfield; mother, Judith Day of Springfield; grandchildren, Halee "Butt" and Morgan "Growly Bear"; one sister, Connie (Larry) Sagraves of Springfield; mother-in-law, Ruby Miller; paternal in-laws, Jack (Janet) Cox Sr.; special friend, Cindy and special friend, Larry Jackson. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Day; father-in-law, John Miller. Visitation will be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm Thursday June 12, 2008 in the JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS Funeral Home. Service will be held 11am Friday June 13, 2008 with one hour prior viewing in the First Church of the Nazerene 901 E. Home Rd, Springfield, OH 45503 with Pastor Keith Sarver officiating. Interment to follow in Enon Cemetery. The family would like to extend special thanks to the Springfield Cancer Center and Community Mercy Hospice.
