Very saddened to hear of her passing. She was a teaching assistant in my math class with Mr. Giuliani at the alternate high school at Rippowam in the mid 1980’s. She always saw the potential in us students especially when we did not feel good about ourselves. She would bring cookies, gave birthday parties and was so thoughtful. I can’t believe this illness claimed her what a wonderful human being! For how she positively impacted every student, I know she’s with our Lord Jesus Christ. Rest peacefully, Deborah Jeffries Stamford, CT

Hey Syl, finally unpacking boxes after 30 years. Found family photos from when we were young (good times), and a newspaper clipping/photo of you in the Jenny Lind Contest. I remember because I was there watching you. Also remember our trip to NY to see Sinatra at the Paramount. Will never forget, God willing. Thanks for the memories. To the family, eventually, I hope remembering brings a smile and warms the heart.
