Bob-
Even though we have never met, I have heard many stories of the love of Linda's life and the times and adventures you spent together. Linda and I sat next to each other for years in painting class at Appleridge and chatted, a lot. I want to express my condolences. I am saddened that the last time Linda and I met we had no idea it would be the last time, that is how life is, isn't it? In class, Linda and I encouraged each other and critiqued each others work, all the while staying as positive as we each felt humble. Painting is like that, you know you aren't bad but the gift of creativity is one that seems hard to come right out and say, "I am good". Linda had a good eye and she placed watercolor and pastel to paper with skill and created her heart out and it showed in many fine products. Linda was a talented artist, period, and had a thirst to learn more and constantly improve. I loved her stories and perspective on life she shared openly, she was a kind, good women. When we unpacked our painting tools, I was inspired by her collection of watercolor paint and wanted to be "like Linda"...Yowser and so organized not to mention how generous her spirit was to share any of them whenever anyone in class was in need. Our Monday afternoon class does not met at this time, in fact it will not met in the future as it once did, since our teacher Wilson has moved to Idaho. We may gather with him virtually, time will tell, I am hoping it is true. I know Linda would have been excited to know this was a possibility. I know every member of our class feels this loss deeply and we only shared a small piece of Linda's life. May your loss be filled with good memories and I will pray you find peace knowing the "gifts of self" you gave Linda were immense and never unnoticed by Linda. Peace and good health to you, Bob. My heartfelt condolences to Linda's family. I knew Linda over the years when she worked for Monroe. She was always a pleasure to talk with. She talked about her family often and with much happiness and pride. Hold all the memories close to you now. Pam Wilber Chemung County Clerk's office
