I was deeply saddened to hear of Johnny's passing and regret that our paths did not cross later in life. He was one of my closest friends in high school and instrumental in my faith resurgence. My thoughts are with his family during this season of grief, and my prayer is that they will find comfort in God's grace.

I, like so many others, am filled with sorrow over the loss of Johnny. He was always a friend...never changing. The same person every time you saw him. Always happy to see you. The first words out of his mouth were always asking how YOU were, never about himself. A sad day for all of us.

So sorry to hear about Johnny's passing. He was really a sweet guy. I can remember him riding his minibike up and down my street all the time when we were just kids and wishing he would let me ride it. He will be definitely be missed.

May the healing begin with the knowledge that your great loss is shared by so many people all over the world. We remember Johnny's incredible friendliness to everyone, his wonderful smile and boundless enthusiasm for the outdoors. Now every time I look out the window I will see him in a canoe, big straw hat, fishing. He must have been the fish
