PEGGY OLDHAM SHEPARD Peggy Shepard, age 78, born in Wilmington, NC. passed away peacefully, December 5, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life of 61 years, John Richard Shepard, Jr. Also daughter Cynthia (Simmons) Shepard, parents, Thomas Oldham, Erma (Bradshaw) Oldham, brother William Thomas Oldham and sister Sandra (Oldham) Purdue. Loving mother of John (Libby) Shepard, Terry (Kim) Shepard, Windy (Jesse) Shepard, and Donald (Dana) Shepard. Also loved by brothers, sisters, family and friends. She was a proud Grandmother of nine and Great Grandmother of twenty two. Peggy was a loving mother and always put her family first. She loved to dance and spend time with her family. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family will be greatly appreciated by visiting www.tmcfunding.com. The family will see friends from 11 am to 2 pm with the memorial service to begin at 2 pm Friday, December 9, 2016 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel.
