Whether it was helping a neighbor with a furnance problem or a partner with a hand during cards, Bud always had just the right mix of skill and encouragement to address the issue -- and ensure the person could handle it right the next time. I will miss Bud, but I will see a bit of him each time I see Liz, his daughters and grandchildren.

I'm praying for you all. Hoping the happy memories can shine through the sorrow. We are all better for having known Bud, a wonderful person and a "papa" like no other.

I met Bud when his daughter Jessica was dating my son Adam. Bud was one of those people that said exactly what he thought and I always liked that about him. Bud had a great sense of humor and I will miss seeing him with Liz. For Liz, Tracy, Brian, Jessica and Adam:

- time heals sorrow

- friends will ease your pain

- peace replaces heartache

- and good memories will remain with you forever

You are all in our hearts.

I know that Bud will be missed by all that knew him. I haven't known him for very long, just the time our kids have been married. But in that short time, I found Bud to be very laid back, kind, thoughtful, giving, funloving, and a very good dad, and husband. I wish that I would have gotten to know him better. He and I were and are the Papa's in out grandchilderns lives. And they will all miss him dearly in their lives as they grow up. Bud has a wonderful family, that will always remember him and share his memories with all. Rest in peace Bud.

Dad will be greatly missed by all of us. We know he's more comfortable now. We will be thinking of him while teaching his grandkids (Chris and Abby) "papa things" like fishing and camping.

We love you dad (PAPA),

I had the delight to work with Denny the past seven years at Minnegasco's Home Service Plus. It was my pleasure to Supervise Denny he always kept me abreast of his hunting trips to South Dakota and weekends in the Alexandria area. As much as it was my pleasure I know that he provided outstanding service to the many customers he served over his career. I'll always remember the smile and warm hand shake that would greet me 30 minutes before a crew meeting, he was always early. Blessed are those who Denny touched. Steve Marsh

I was so sorry to hear about Denny. We started on the same day at Minnegasco and were in the same Tech Service class. He always had such a great sense of humor and was a kind and gentle soul. He will be missed by his friends here at Minnegasco. My deepest sympathy to you, his family, for your loss of this wonderful man.

To Liz, Tracy and Jessica: My sympathies go out to you all in this moment of grieving. Something like this happens for reasons no one understands and for reasons no one can explain. No words can describe how you feel of your loss, but millions of words can describe how much he meant to you all and everyone else he has touched in his life. Loving husband, wonderful Dad and understanding friend are just a few statements of how he has touched your lives and my families too. I have known you all since I can barely remember and I too will miss Dennis. It pains me to think that he is gone, but remember that even in this sad time, a happy future can always be had with vivid memories of loved ones lost. I send this with deepest sympathies and regards from Myself, my daughter Eva and Step-son Sean.
