Dear Cousin Kathy,
My sincere sympathy to you in the death of your dear mother, Bertha. I am so thankful for the very nice visit Judy and I had with you and your Mom at Augustana last November celebrating her 103rd birthday. Amazing! We were thrilled when Aunt Bertha played familiar tunes for us on the grand piano in the lobby.
God's peace be with you and your family in this loss.
Love from Lois

Dear Kathy, My name is Laurene Eddy Aasen . I live at Portland nd. I heard through Bill Berg that your Mother had passed away. My sympathy to you. I worked for your Mom in Gonvick when you were a little girl.. I started at the telephone office when I was in 7th grade filling in for your Mom when she needed a break.. perhaps to play cards with vivian Dille and other friends of hers. I did keep in touch with her for a few years after she moved to Bemidji . but you know how life gets busy and we soon lose touch.
I hope you are well and just as pretty a little girl as you were years ago.. you are a nurse , right?
My best to you and I am sorry for your loss. Your Mom was a very special person I liked her alot.. Love from Laurene.
