Bertha Marie Grundyson

Grundyson, Bertha Marie Age 103, died April 17, 2010, at Augustana Center, Mpls. She was born in McIntosh, Mn, to Henry and Wilhemina Svien on November 6, 1906. Bertha was a graduate of McIntosh High School and married Norval Grundyson, Sept. 1925. During her life she ran the telephone office in Gonvick, Mn and worked in the Bemidji auditor's office for twenty years. She is survived by daughter, Kathryn; son-in-law, Eldon Burow; and grandchildren, Kristina and Elizabeth. Preceding her in death were husband, Norval; son, Curtis; and five brothers and five sisters. Bertha will be remembered as an honest, truth-speaking lady who was a good friend, a great Duplicate Bridge player, who had the ability to laugh at herself and who enjoyed simple pleasures.
