As a volunteer, I visted Lucille almost every Thursday for the last couple of years with my golden retriever "Gracie." Lucille was a joy to know and visit with. She was a true "character." She had a wry sense of humor and seemed to make the best out of her circumstances. I will miss her and our visits and thankful for the friendship we shared. She often talked to me about her family and how special they were to her. The last few visits I had with her I could tell that she was a peace and ready to go home to heaven with her other loved ones. My sympathy goes out to Lucille's family, I know that you will miss her most.
