Dad,

In typical fashion, you have quietly led us through the remaining weeks of your life here on earth. I am grateful for every second of these last days with you. After reflecting on this time and beginning to look back on the memories we shared, it is difficult to put into words how much you mean to me.

As I struggle with putting thoughts and feelings into words, there is no other way for me to sum it all up other than by saying you were the coolest Dad in the world. You led by example with a patient determination and unconditional love. I look back on my most important life lessons and they can all be attributed to you.

There is one certainty that I take with me as I move forward from here. Although you are gone, I know these life lessons will continue for the remainder of my time here on earth. For that, I am also truly grateful.

Love,

Paul
