Douglas Madison Newman

Newman, Douglas Madison 58, of Whitehall Township, PA, passed away July 3, 2010 in a motor vehicle accident. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Doug was the son of the late Virginia and John Newman. He was a veteran of the US Army Reserve. He was a graduate of Madison West High School and the University of Wisconsin. He spent his 25-year career as a development professional raising money for multiple non-profit organizations. Most recently he was Owner and CEO of Secor Associates, a fundraising-consulting firm. He is survived by his wife, Amy Newman; his children, Ali and Nicholas Newman, Elliot and Hannah Miller; daughter-in- law, Tiffany Newman; his grandchild- ren, Faheem and Soul Newman; brother, John Newman; sisters-in-law, Paulette and LeAnne Newman; nephews, Jesse and Adam Newman, and niece, Jennifer Newman. He was pre-deceased by his brother, David Newman. A service to celebrate his life was held on Thursday, July 8, 2010 in Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in memory of Doug given to his mother's memorial scholarship fund supporting pre-school education for children in need.
