I haven't quite yet absorbed it, E. I still can't believe that I'm never again going to hear that sincere voice say "hey bud" on the other end of the phone line. You've been such a wonderful friend; always fun, caring, straightforward, funny as hell, and true blue. Thanks for all you taught me and for making me laugh so, so much throughout the years. Your legacy lives on through all of us whom you touched. It will be healing to see friends and hear "Eric stories" at the Cali memorial. Love, your bud, Karen

I'm so proud of your strength, and I'm at peace with the comfort you have. The void is tremendous and will never, and shouldn't, be filled. You were my brother, and closest friend, and you should only have one of those in a lifetime. So save a seat for me, and watch over when you can. Niki, I and the boys miss you and will forever.
