I did know you Chilord. We never spoke and I had no idea you existed up until a week ago. I read your work and can say that you brought me joy through your words. Knowing that you had passed almost 2 years ago fill me with sadness for the written word as I truly believe that the world has lost a truly great author. Jonathan had a beautiful combination of traits that is remarkably difficult to find expressed: incredible imagination sufficiently grounded in an insightful, cutting realism. It's what made him a gifted writer to enjoy and a skilled conversationalist to be around - and a small part of what made him a good friend.
