Connie "Con" Lynn (Haley) McCready was born on September 4th, 1956 to Doyle & Alvina Haley. Her childhood was spent in the Millboro and Clearfield areas. She attended Millboro elementary until 8th grade and attended high school in Winner, graduating in 1974.

She met the love of her life, Bob McCready in 1976 dating a couple of years and eventually getting married on June 24th, 1978. In her words "she had been a McCready longer than a Haley." To this union they had two children, Abbie and Matt.

Connie spent many years working for Fortuna Cleaning where she was known for her pranks and good laughter. She then spent many years working at Golden Prairie Manor where she loved to visit with the residents. Connie would always bring a smile to their faces.

Con was always willing to have a good time, whether it be taking a lap around the Rapid Speedway in a limo or throwing a "one punch." She was also known for her delicious butter scotch desserts that were always present at family functions and special occasions.

Gma Connie (far, far away Gma) was the best supporter to her 6 grandchildren. She attended many sporting events, 4H fairs, choir and school events. She was their biggest fan.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 47 years, Bob McCready, her two children; Abbie (Bill) Ackerman of George, IA, Matt (Pam) McCready of Lennox, SD, grandchildren; Owen, Cale and Jake Ackerman of George, IA, Connor, Brooke and Kenedi McCready of Lennox, SD. Also, her siblings Pat Smith, Rita (Rex) Weber, Short (Janelle) Haley and Jim (Tracie) Haley, in-laws; Ron & Judy McCready, Glen & Ned McCready, Kim & Donna Brakke, along with many nieces and nephews.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Doyle & Alvina, her in-laws Orvin & Mary McCready, brother Robert (Berb) Haley, nephew Randy Weber and niece Courtney Brozik.
