I remember those times when we went on an outing to Bastrop with your family and my family and your family was always so respectful to us. It made me happy to be with your family.May the angels keep her safe and may she rest in peace.

Lena Silva (daughter of Jesse Silva & Epifania Carrizales Silva).
After my grandfather Juan Carrizales married my grandmother Francisca Aguilar, he brought her little sister Fidela to Texas to live with them and "help out". Mom was their first born followed by 4 (?) sons and then a girl plus 2 more sons. The Villanuevas were a big part of my childhood!

My heart is sad hearing of the passing of your Beautiful Mom. I got to visit with her when I delivered Meals on Wheels to her. She was always happy and we would catch up on family. I always enjoyed my stop at her house. I pray for peace and comfort for your family. May she rest in peace and shine her beautiful smile in Heaven. Please know that I not be attending the service as I am in California. My Brother in law passed and his service is the same day as hers. I will be praying and thinking of you all.

Firstly I would like to express my deepest condolences to the Tovar Family. Josie “Larry” Tovar, I was “Moe” as she so sweetly called me; we called each other the three stooges (John included was Curly), was not just my client but my friend. Josie and I became very close and she treated me like family, she was such a pleasure to work for and with. I will miss her dearly and will always have the memories of our talks, watching the “Pioneer Women” and eating conchas and having cups of coffee with breakfast. Josie will forever be in my heart and I will never forget her. I love you and I will see you again someday.
