Richard F. Heikens Richard F. Heikens, 62 of Georgetown, beloved husband, father, and father-in-law. Richard departed this life peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on September 8, 2005, due to metastasized prostate cancer. He was born in Chicago, Illinois August 4, 1943, to Richard and Dorothy Heikens. He married Evelyn Evans of Apple River, Illinois on June 16, 1962 and was the proud father of three daughters. He worked since 1963 in the auto body rebuilding business in Illinois and Austin. He spent 15 years working for Quality Body Shop in Austin. Richard was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 174 in Lena, IL, Valley of the Scottish Rite Bodies 32nd degree, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem # 4 of Freeport, IL, Order of the Eastern Star # 322 Lena, IL. He will be sorely missed by his best friend, soul mate and wife, Evelyn; daughters Debbie Heikens Swenson and husband Jimbo of Georgetown Tex.; Heather Heikens Davis and husband Ben of Georgetown, Tex.; Tammy Bartolomei of Rockford, Ill.. He is survived by six grandchildren. He will also be missed by many friends, family, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father Richard C. Heikens, father-in-law Orville Evans and son-in-law Tom Bartolomei. Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at Austin Peel and Son Funeral Home in Austin, Tex.,, followed by a Visitation and Funeral Service in Stockton, Ill. A memorial will be established in his name at, Wells Fargo Bank. Happy Trails to you until we meet again!
